Job Description:
Support Tax Compliance and Monitoring
- Assist in monitoring tax compliance for operating units and ensure they are following tax regulations.
- Help track and resolve basic compliance issues under the guidance of senior team members.
Support Tax Awareness and Knowledge Enhancement
- Assist in organizing training and knowledge-sharing sessions for finance personnel within operating units.
- Help develop materials to improve tax awareness and ensure high levels of tax compliance.
Research and Assist in Technical Issues
- Conduct research on tax-related issues and provide support in addressing technical questions.
- Help with the preparation of reports by gathering necessary information for advisory assignments.
Build Relationships with Operating Units
- Develop strong working relationships with finance teams in operating units to facilitate smooth communication.
- Assist in addressing their basic tax-related questions and provide general support.
Requirements
- Degree/Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy; including taxation as a subject in the qualification.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience; preferably from professional firm and preferably from Big 4 or medium size firm.
