Job Description Summary

As the Executive, Strategic Clients - National Accounts, you will be responsible for GE HealthCare’s overall relationship and performance with Mayo Clinic, one of the world’s most prestigious & innovative healthcare provider institutions. You will lead, own, coordinate, and influence all the commercial activity and be responsible for partnering with each GE HealthCare segment to ensure client success & satisfaction.

This position will require significant levels of interaction & influence with senior clinical, administrative, and operational stakeholders and decision-makers so the individual must have deep understanding of how an elite and national healthcare provider functions and makes decisions. The role will also require a significant amount of indirect leadership & influence of GE HealthCare employees that support Mayo Clinic nationally – both commercially and operationally.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Represents all GE HealthCare business groups (cross product/business/P&L) to all Mayo Clinic healthcare provider entities in the United States, coordinating carefully with all GE HealthCare product & service segments.

  • Develops commercial & overall relationship strategy for Mayo Clinic nationally, creating account plans and priorities that determine how the GE HealthCare organization & team-members engage with Mayo Clinic.

  • Owns Mayo Clinic – wide mapping & management of key stakeholders & decision-makers, ensuring that the needs of those individuals and groups of individuals are being met and that those relationships are strong.  This includes the careful coordination & Orchestration of those relationships with local, national, and global GE HealthCare employees.

  • Is responsible for the commercial performance of GE HealthCare & its entire portfolio at Mayo Clinic nationally and also responsible for maintaining the overall health of the GE HealthCare relationship with Mayo Clinic.

  • Individual must foster a culture of deep customer understanding and awareness of top customer challenges & opportunities and how GE HealthCare can support Mayo Clinic with addressing them.  

  • Ensures ownership, accountability, and credibility for all GE HealthCare customer-facing employees nationally in close coordination with segment and region leadership.

  • Leads & drives GE HealthCare internal strategy & approval process to build solutions that address customer commercial needs and ensure Mayo client success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8+ years of experience in any combination of medical sales, healthcare marketing, clinical/technical (Modality) expertise, clinical technology leadership in (Modality), healthcare provider consulting, or 10+ years of experience in hospital administration / service line leadership at a large healthcare provider.  

  • Direct or indirect people leadership experience, including influencing broad teams on a national scale; commercial or healthcare provider consulting leadership experience preferred.

  • Experience selling into a large healthcare provider organization; experience working with a leading academic healthcare provider preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex information both verbally and written to decision makers at the C-Suite Level; excellent executive communication & influencing skills.

  • Rochester, MN desired location.

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
