Role Overview

The Logistics Freight Coordinator will manage outbound freight invoice processing and ensure smooth coordination among internal teams, external service providers, and support functions such as Finance and Legal. The role also involves handling Transportation Management System (TMS) activities, including undercharge review and freight invoice validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finance Coordination (AP Billdesk):
    - Liaise with Finance for Accounts Payable processes related to freight and logistics invoices.
    - Ensure timely submission and reconciliation of bills through Billdesk or other financial platforms.

  • Legal Coordination:
    - Collaborate with the Legal team to review and process contracts, agreements, and compliance documents related to logistics operations.
    - Maintain records of legal approvals and ensure adherence to company policies.

  • Coordination with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs):
    - Communicate with LSPs for freight invoice updates, documentation, and issue resolution.
    - Monitor service performance and escalate concerns when necessary.

  • Outbound Freight Operations:
    - Oversee outbound freight invoice processes, including manual invoice handling, documentation, and timely submission.
    - Ensure compliance with audit regulations and company standards.

  • TMS Activities:
    - Perform charge review to validate freight charges against agreed rates.
    - Conduct freight invoice validation in TMS software to ensure accuracy and compliance before payment processing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in logistics coordination or freight operations.

  • Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), preferably SUPER PROCURE.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Knowledge of financial processes and legal documentation in logistics.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
