About You

In one of our Supply Chain roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.

You will be maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work. This role is part of Kimberly-Clark’s investment in creating new jobs and expanding its capabilities to produce premium Products that are essential to millions of lives around the world, and right here in India.   • Help safety Manager to Implement Environment Health and Safety Management System in line with Global requirements.

  • Help Safety manager to Document Control and reporting system for EHS management system. Supports Mill Safety Manager in developing safety systems and procedures as well as conducting safety audits as per the requirements.

  • People should be responsible for helping safety manager maintain product quality and should ensure that requirements of QMS

  • are fulfilled.

  • The products comply with FPS and ensure the Quality Management system is effectively deployed

  • to reduce product complaints and ensure that Quality Indices are achieved as per target set by regional QA team and Management.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 to 5 yrs of continuous service in Safety or related function in a mill/factory setup.

  • Education BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.

  • Improve injury incident rate for the Mill with zero LTI, Achieve Injury Rate of less than 0.5

  • Accident/Incident Analysis & CAPA implementation

  • Report on All Accidents/Incidents

  • Monthly/Yearly Safety audits (GRC, EHS, SAM etc.) and closure of findings arising out of them.

  • HIRA Audit for all the Assets. Critical Task Analysis, Task Observations.

  • Yearly Safety Improvement Plan Implementation

  • Sentinel Event identification and improvements implementation

  • Safety one on One discussions to drive accountability

  • Ensure Apex Safety Committee meeting is held once in 15 days

  • Improve PPE compliance – PPE Audit, fit testing of PPE’s, permit job compliance, compliance to task observation.

  • To create awareness in the people to ensure OHS management system compliance as per KC standard by Identification of training based on OHS management system requirements, By conducting or coordinating Safety training, Safety Induction Training, Contractor Safety Training, Emergency Response Training, Annual Mock Drill

  • Implementation of HELP: Implementation of HELP Policy, improving guarding condition of the plant machinery, Monthly Guarding Audits, Providing resources for LOTO implementation, Implementation of safety violation and disciplinary action

  • Safety indices reporting: Monthly Safety Report up-dating in KC reporting system, Reporting of Sentinel Events, Reporting of GRC recommendations status, EHS Management system Audit reporting, Reporting of SAM audit findings action plan

  • Document Control: Document Controller for complete plant Management Systems including EHS Management System, Up to Date Documents for all the Management System including EHS, ensure all the Safety Procedures are up to date, Review procedures every two years, All the Safety records are documented, All the training records are documented.

  • The incumbent works closely with Safety Manager to plan the Annual Safety Plan.

  • Works closely with Asset team leader in assuring help is provided to implement Safety plans on each asset

  • The job is focused on providing leadership to maintain a positive work environment to promote safety in the Plant.

  • Supporting all projects meet KC standards’ expectations.

  • Develop local vendors for Safety items like PPE etc.

  • Provide or support Safety training for all mill employees.

  • Ensure all the contractors are trained in Safety Standards and follow Plant Safety guidelines.

  • Report to the regional team on Safety indices and coordinate for all the Safety Audits
