Beijing Full time

Are you energised by shaping portfolio direction, driving growth, and leading strategic programmes across a matrix organisation?

Do you enjoy building long-term partnerships with editors, societies, and research leaders worldwide?

About the Team

You will be part of the Social Science journals publishing team, which is responsible for 150 hybrid and open access journals. The portfolio has a strong focus on business, management, innovation studies and technology management and consists of 11 publishers based in the UK, China, USA and the Netherlands. Together, the team defines and delivers portfolio strategy, drives performance, and builds strong partnerships with editors, societies, universities, and research communities worldwide.

About the Role

This is a senior level independent contributor role within our journal division. As Executive Publisher, you will lead the strategic development and financial performance of the innovation and technology management journal portfolio, including some of the most prestigious international journals in the field. You will define and deliver portfolio strategy, drive performance against agreed KPIs, and ensure results are delivered within budget. You will build and maintain external networks, shape portfolio direction, identify growth opportunities, and translate market trends into strategic action.
