APM Terminals
To manage and execute end-to-end CFS operations with a strong focus on system implementation, digitalization, documentation accuracy, regulatory compliance, SCMTR sustainability, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring smooth yard, warehouse, and customer-facing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems, Digitalization & Automation
- Lead implementation and execution of CFSMAG, Yard Operations, Container Tracking, Customer Portal, Appointment System, and WMS.
- Drive digitalization initiatives including VNV system enhancement with continuous system improvement.
- Support SAP processes including SO, RQN, and GRN creation in coordination with the Finance team.
- Identify and implement secure, scalable e-solutions for document storage within CFSMAG.
- Ensure sustainability and performance tracking of SCMTR, Customer Portal, and WMS using measurable data.
Documentation, Billing & Compliance
- Ensure error-free documentation through strict adherence to SOPs, accurate data entry, and document verification.
- Maintain invoice accuracy across cash and credit billing cycles (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) within defined timelines.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and confidentiality policies.
- Drive documentation TAT reduction, control, and sustainability.
- Support and comply with monthly operational control audits by verifying and submitting required data.
SCMTR & Regulatory Coordination
- Manage end-to-end SCMTR activities with timely and accurate filing of SF, ASR, DP, and other statutory messages.
- Coordinate with Customs, ICEGATE, IT teams, and stakeholders for issue and query resolution.
- Ensure uninterrupted SCMTR flow and stay updated with latest customs norms and regulatory policies.
Operations, Yard & Inventory Management
- Monitor yard execution, warehouse operations and cargo movement efficiency.
- Maintain physical inventory records, system reconciliation (Tally) and closure reports.
- Ensure regular housekeeping, inventory tallying, cargo alignment and optimal space utilization in Export/LCL warehouses and Open Bond areas.
- Follow up on cargo clearance and operational bottlenecks.
- Maintain downtime trackers, error logs, seal issuance records, and ensure proper shift handover/takeover.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintain professional relationships with customers, customs authorities and regulatory/legal bodies.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to customer and BA queries via calls and emails.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams through regular meetings and issue resolution to ensure smooth documentation and operations.
Reporting, Governance & Conduct
- Prepare MIS reports and handle adhoc tasks/projects as required by Management or Customs.
- Actively participate in surveys, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain clear alignment with organizational goals, vision, and mission.
- Ensure strict adherence to APMT policies related to behaviour, integrity, discipline, punctuality, attendance, and dress code.
