Job Expectations

Build your career and Australia’s future.

Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.

We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for an Executive Manager Reputation Management, reporting to the Executive General Manager, Reputation and Stakeholder Engagement.

A bit about your role

As the Executive Manager Reputation Management, you will lead the development and execution of nbn’s enterprise-wide reputation strategy, ensuring stakeholder trust, brand equity and long-term value are strengthened. This will see you leveraging the RepTrak framework to deliver reputation tracking, forensics and insights that inform decision-making and embed a culture of reputation considerations across the organisation. Your work will be critical to maintaining nbn’s social licence and supporting its regulatory environment, while aligning with annual objectives and long-term nbn2030 targets.

You’ll work with data and insights teams to use RepTrak reputation tools, analyse events that affect reputation, and help integrate these insights into company-wide reports. You will be collaborating across the organisation to embed reputation thinking influencing senior leaders and executive forums with clear, evidence-based insights. It is a highly strategic role with visible impact, requiring strong collaboration and the ability to lead without direct ownership of initiatives.

A bit about you

You are an experienced reputation leader with a proven track record in reputation management, corporate affairs or stakeholder engagement within complex organisations. You bring deep expertise in reputation measurement frameworks such as RepTrak and have the ability to translate insights into strategies that drive enterprise-wide outcomes. Your strong influencing skills, commercial acumen, strategic thinking and ability to navigate ambiguity make you a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.

You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable leading without direct control, fostering alignment and shared purpose across diverse teams. With exceptional communication skills and a pragmatic approach, you ensure reputation strategy is not only well-designed but effectively embedded. You have gained your experience within regulated industries or large-scale organisations, and your ability to shape enterprise-wide reputation practices will help secure nbn’s long-term success.
