We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Specialist in Policy Servicing for our Group Insurance Business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing group insurance policies, ensuring that all policyholder requests and transactions are processed efficiently and accurately. This role involves working closely with clients, financial consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality service, maintain policy records, and address any issues that may arise during the policy lifecycle. You will report to the Team Lead, Enterprise Business Operations.Policy Servicing:
Handle all aspects of policy servicing for packaged group insurance clients, including policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
Process changes to policy terms, coverages, and members information as requested.
Ensure all policy documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Client Support and Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for packaged group insurance policyholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Provide clear and concise communication regarding policy terms, billing, and coverage details.
Facilitate smooth onboarding and enrolment processes for new packaged group insurance clients.
Policy Administration and Record Keeping:
Maintain and update policy records in the insurance management system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Generate and distribute policy documents, certificates, and other relevant materials to clients and brokers.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding documentation, premium payments, and other policy-related requirements.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company-specific guidelines related to group insurance policy servicing.
Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of policy servicing operations.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with underwriting, claims, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery.
Provide support in the resolution of complex policy servicing issues, collaborating with other departments as necessary.
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support the growth and development of the group insurance business.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on policy servicing activities, including transaction volumes, service levels, and client feedback.
Analyse data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
Competencies & Personal Traits
Strong knowledge of group insurance products, policy administration processes, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
Proficiency in using insurance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Positive, influencing and willing to embrace change.
Working Experience
• 1 to 3 years of working experience in policy servicing, customer service, or operations within the insurance industry, preferably in group insurance.
• Prior experience with employee benefits scheme
• Knowledge of Group Insurance products is a plus
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
