Position Summary:

The Executive Director, Real Estate Technology & Reporting serves as a strategic leader responsible for advancing the department’s technology platforms, reporting capabilities, and integrated data environment. Partnering with business leaders, project managers, and compliance stakeholders, this role leads the development and implementation of modern technology solutions, automated reporting tools, and integrated data systems that support Real Estate, Construction and Property Administration operations. By centralizing data and streamlining reporting processes, the Executive Director enhances transparency, strengthens portfolio oversight and performance monitoring, and enables more informed, data-driven decision-making across projects and the broader portfolio.

This leader drives innovation by advancing automation, dashboards, cloud-based solutions, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning that enable real-time insights, predictive analytics, and streamlined workflows. Through data-driven analysis and operational reporting, the Executive Director helps identify trends, risks, and opportunities while ensuring reporting accuracy and alignment with enterprise initiatives.

The Executive Director also leads cross-functional teams responsible for technology, reporting, and analytics capabilities. By fostering collaboration, mentoring team members, and promoting a culture of innovation and accountability, this leader ensures that the department continuously evolves its technology and reporting infrastructure to support enterprise priorities and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the technology ecosystem supporting Real Estate, Construction, and Property Administration, driving modernization, integration, and long-term platform strategy.
  • Lead the enterprise integration of data, reporting, and technology systems across the Real Estate, Construction & Property Administration portfolio to create a unified and scalable data environment.
  • Direct the design and implementation of automated reporting solutions, dashboards, and enterprise platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, TRIRIGA, and cloud-based systems) to improve operational efficiency and transparency.
  • Advance the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and advanced analytics to automate workflows, enhance reporting capabilities, and generate actionable portfolio insights.
  • Establish and oversee enterprise reporting frameworks and KPI dashboards that provide executive leadership with clear visibility into project performance, portfolio health, and strategic initiatives.
  • Translate complex operational data into strategic insights, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that support proactive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with senior leadership, finance, project management, IT, procurement, and external vendors to align technology strategy, vendor solutions, and reporting capabilities with organizational priorities.
  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, governance, and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years required experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, Consulting, IT, or related field. Previous experience in agile product development helpful
  • 8+ years of people management experience with a proven track record of leading highly effective and engaged teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create presentations that present complex ideas in a simplified format to various audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple, complex projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Work a Hybrid Model out of Woonsocket, RI - Tue/Wed/Thurs in office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with software development teams in an Agile environment.
  • Experience applying AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, or natural language processing (NLP) to business operations, reporting, or portfolio management to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and enhance decision-making.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled automation or generative AI tools to improve reporting workflows, data accessibility, and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment in complex or ambiguous environments.
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, analytical, and people leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with data-driven decision-making and quantitative analysis.
  • General understanding of core programming and computer science concepts.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large technology or product-focused teams.
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver who makes balanced, data-informed decisions, evaluates risks and alternatives, and clearly connects initiatives to broader portfolio and business strategy.
  • Influential communicator and collaborative leader skilled at building relationships across senior leadership, business units, and external partners while fostering alignment and resolving conflicts.
  • Results-oriented leader who effectively prioritizes competing demands, drives execution with urgency, and coaches and mentors team members to support professional growth and organizational success.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related discipline.

Master’s degree preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$131,500.00 - $303,195.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
