GENERAL OVERVIEW:
This role will lead AHN’s digital hospital services and oversee the Patient Command Center, advancing innovation in virtual care, telehealth, and centralized patient transfer operations. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless patient access, improved clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency across the network.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform management responsibilities to include, but not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, and manage the day-to-day operations of the team; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; manage to assigned budgets. (20%)
Lead the development, implementation, and advancement of digital health initiatives, including telehealth, remote monitoring, and virtual care delivery, in alignment with AHN's strategic objectives. (20%)
Manage and optimize the centralized transfer center, leveraging technology for real-time bed management and triage coordination to enhance patient movement and safety. (15%)
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital health adoption and transfer center operations, utilizing analytics to optimize patient flow and resource utilization. (15%)
Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to streamline workflows and ensure continuity of care through effective integration of digital platforms with EHR systems. (10%)
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, data security, and all relevant regulatory standards across all initiatives and operations. (10%)
Promote patient safety and satisfaction through continuous improvement initiatives. (10%)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
Bachelor’s degree.
10+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, digital health, or patient access
Proven success in telehealth implementation and large-scale transfer operations
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, data privacy, and interoperability standards
Preferred
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
Doctorate
