A central focus of this role is student engagement through co-curricular and experiential learning opportunities—ensuring that students from the McDonough School of Business (MSB) and the Walsh School of Foreign Service (SFS) gain practical, global experience through projects, treks, and meaningful interactions with industry leaders.
The Executive Director leads all aspects of the Center’s strategy, partnerships, programs, and administration—most notably supporting and advancing the distinguished Global Business Fellows (GBF) Program, a joint undergraduate project between the MSB and the SFS that integrates business, economics, policy, and international affairs.
The Executive Director manages the Baratta Center’s operations, staff, and budget, builds partnerships with employers and global organizations, and ensures that students have access to professional experiences that connect academic learning to real-world application and impact. Working collaboratively with the Senior Associate Dean for Global Strategy, the Director of the GBF Program, the Dean’s Office, and staff and faculty leadership, the Executive Director plays a key role in advancing Georgetown’s mission to educate ethical, globally engaged leaders.

Lead the operations of the Baratta Center, managing staff, budget, and programs to ensure the effective delivery of student-centered initiatives.
Partner with the Director of the Global Business Fellows (GBF) program to enhance curriculum coordination, student engagement, and co-curricular programming such as consulting projects, domestic and international treks, site visits, and career-focused events.
Build partnerships with global organizations to expand experiential learning opportunities for students.
Coordinate with McDonough’s Career Center, Undergraduate Program Office, and the Office of Advancement to support student placements, alumni engagement, and employer outreach.
Develop and steward relationships with donors, alumni, and corporate partners to secure resources supporting the Center’s programs and student learning experiences.
Support the integration of the Center’s programs into the broader student experience at McDonough and across Georgetown.
Manage staff and administrative processes to ensure smooth operations and successful execution of Center activities.
