The Executive Communications Lead plays a critical role in shaping how the Commercial Organization (CO) communicates and engages - internally and externally. As part of the Global GTM Communications team, this role leads the Chief Commercial Officer’s (CCO) internal communications program, drives executive thought leadership for key market leadership, and oversees high-impact customer and partner communications.

Reporting into the Head of Communications, Office of the CCO, this is a highly visible role, requiring a strong communicator who can translate strategy into clear, compelling narratives, operate with speed and precision, and partner effectively with senior leaders across a global organization.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven communicator with exceptional writing, editing and organizational skills, strong program management capabilities, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Communications
    • Support the strategy and execution of the CCO’s internal communications program to strengthen employee engagement and reinforce confidence in HP’s strategy
    • Develop high-impact, multi-channel content including internal messages, announcements, scripts and briefing materials
    • Support planning and execution of quarterly all employee meetings (AEMs)
    • Contribute to development of executive keynote presentations
    • Partner with executive comms leads, market and/or functional teams on internal communications and employee engagement projects
    • Own and maintain the CO communications calendar and manage cadence
  • Executive thought leadership, North America Market MD
    • Lead the external thought leadership program for the Managing Director, North America Market, including earned media and LinkedIn programs
    • Partner with agency team to develop and execute strategic communications plans
    • Create high-impact, compelling content, including short-form social content and leadership narratives
    • Serve as a key point of contact for North America MD, Chief of Staff and North America Executive Communications lead
    • Deliver and present quarterly program performance and insights to stakeholders
  • Customer and Partner Comms
    • Develop and manage customer and partner communications for sales and/or crisis related issues
    • Partner cross-functionally with Global Legal Affairs, Corporate Crisis and Global Channel Communications teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of content requests
    • Review and approve pricing communications
  • Support global GTM Communications team on major events such as One HP Kickoff, HP Amplify and HP Imagine

Education, Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related field (preferred)
  • 8-10 years of experience, working for a name brand, global technology company or agency
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience developing executive-level content across multiple formats and channels
  • Proven ability to manage complex communications programs end-to-end
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence  
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels, including senior leadership  
  • Self-starter with ability to work effectively in a global team
  • Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
