What this role is:

You will lead Executive Communications for the Senior Vice President, EMEA Sales. The majority of your time will be focused on the head of sales, with additional support occasionally required for other EMEA Sales executives.

In this role, you will build and execute upon an executive platform, serve as a trusted adviser, and own internal and external communications deliverables for the EMEA Sales leader—plus, ad hoc support for other EMEA Sales executives.

You bring business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to shape narrative during moments of transformation. You take a long-term, strategic approach to executive communications — connecting complex sales strategies into clear, consistent positioning that builds credibility and drives impact over time. Comfortable navigating evolving situations, you advise senior leaders with candor and discretion, anticipate organizational sentiment, and proactively influence messaging decisions that resonate across global audiences. You work collaboratively and bring creativity to your approach.

Some details about what you’ll do:

  • Manage internal and external communications for SVP EMEA Sales as a means of evangelizing the company’s transformation to AI-Powered Experience Orchestration, highlighting our unique value proposition, sharing customer stories, and evolving the sales organization for the next frontier of Agentic AI and Genesys Cloud™, the AI-Powered Experience Orchestration platform that connects people, systems, data and AI across the enterprise.

  • Create and execute upon a communications plan for the SVP EMEA Sales (and other EMEA Sales leaders)

  • Manage all communications deliverables, from content and messaging development to logistics, including executive organization announcements, All Hands meeting presentations, internal and external presentations, sales kickoff, blogs, social media, videos, briefing documents, and coordinate with PR/AR/marketing for media and analyst meetings.  These deliverables include content development, messaging, and securing appropriate approvals.

  • Strategic adviser to EMEA Sales executives on messaging, tone and speaker delivery.

  •   Extended member of EMEA Sales Leadership Team.

  • Partner with Communications and Marketing teams to insure coordinated and consistent messaging across Genesys’ executives

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
    Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in executive communications, corporate communications, or a related field.

  • Experience in corporate “storytelling” and corporate narratives.

  • Ability to take complex inputs and deliver a clear, executive-level narrative

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with an emphasis on simple and conversational style

  • Success with keynote presentations and organizational communications

  • Advanced analytical skills

  •   Mastery of modern communications channels, including social/digital media 

  • Experience working across global or international environments, with an appreciation for diverse perspectives.

  • Experience supporting senior leaders (e.g., SVP, EVP, or C-suite) in complex, fast-paced organizations.

  • Familiarity with SaaS and/or cloud technologies.

  • Collaborative, respectful, and positive in working with others.
