THE JOB:

Join MGM Northfield Park as the Executive Chef for Concerto, where you'll oversee all operations of the kitchen and lead a talented culinary team. In this role, you will drive the department's goals in alignment with MGM's brand standards, manage inventory and cost controls, and ensure high customer satisfaction. You'll also train and assess staff performance while executing initiatives set by property leadership. THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Owns and oversees daily kitchen operations, including fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and menu strategy development for profitability.

  • Executes policies and procedures, oversees training programs, and ensures adherence to health, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.

  • Manages human resources responsibilities, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, and compliance with company policies and diversity commitments.

  • Interacts with guests to ensure satisfaction and product quality, addressing complaints and feedback appropriately.

  • Collaborates with divisional directors and kitchen teams for seamless product delivery, maintaining high knowledge of the property’s food and beverage products.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a culinary management role.

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement.

  • Preferred experience includes working in a banquet kitchen or a high-volume restaurant.
