Junction

Executive Assistant to the Founder

London, United Kingdom, GB Full-time

Healthcare is in crisis and the people behind the results deserve better. With data exploding across wearables, lab tests, and patient–doctor interactions, we’re entering an era where data is abundant.

Junction is building the infrastructure layer for diagnostic healthcare, making patient data accessible, actionable, and automated across labs and devices. Our mission is simple but ambitious: use health data to unlock unprecedented insight into human health and disease.

If you're passionate about how technology can supercharge healthcare, you’ll fit right in.

Backed by Creandum, Point Nine, 20VC, YC, and leading angels, we’re working to solve one of the biggest challenges of our time: making healthcare personalized, proactive, and affordable. We’re already connecting millions and scaling fast.

As we scale, our founder and senior leaders need to focus relentlessly on the highest-impact work. This role exists to make that possible.

We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our founder, Maitham, and other senior leaders - someone who brings structure, clear judgment, and calm to a fast-moving early stage environment.

Short on time?

  • You: An ambitious, proactive executive assistant who cares deeply about fixing healthcare
  • Us: Team size 35, revenue 6x'd in the last year
  • Salary: $60-$100K depending on location and experience
  • Location: Fully remote (EST timezone)

What you’ll be doing

You’ll act as a force multiplier for our founder and senior leaders, enabling them to spend their time where it matters most.

Day to day, this includes:

  • Executive support
    • Own calendar and schedule management for Maitham and selected senior leaders if required
    • Supporting on personal admin so that he can focus in
    • Build calendars that reflect priorities, energy, and constraints every quarter
  • Planning & coordination
    • Support board meeting preparation (scheduling, materials, logistics)
    • Working with our Head of Talent to help plan and execute offsites, all-hands, and key internal moments when needed
    • Manage travel and logistics when required - making sure scalable processes are built
  • Adhoc projects & tasks
    • Working closely with our Head of Talent, Lyn on adhoc people operations and experience projects
    • Helping to unblock leaders or the wider team on the highest priority happening

As you know, in startups you never have the same day again - so if you want to get stuck into all areas of the business to make impact, then this is for you.

  • 3+ years supporting a Founder of a fast paced startup (Series A → Series C)
  • Proven experience owning complex calendar and schedule management, including:
    • Multiple stakeholders
    • Competing priorities
    • Frequent changes across different timezones

How you operate

  • You have strong intuition for what does and does not need an executive’s attention - you know that every minute counts
  • You proactively identify issues before they arise and take ownership of resolving them end-to-end
  • You get energy from making a process either automated or smoother the next time so that you aren’t drowning in admin
  • You’re confident making judgment calls with incomplete information and know when to escalate
  • You stay calm, organised, and effective in environments where priorities change quickly
  • You build deep trust with leaders and are seen as a partner, not just support

Mindset

  • You care deeply about being part of a mission-driven company fixing real-world healthcare problems
