Are you an energetic and adaptable Executive Assistant with a passion for excellence?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team, providing high-level support to the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Head of Finance playing a key role in enabling the delivery of critical financial outcomes for the Bank.

Reporting to the Group Head Assistant, you will be part of a high-performing Executive Support team while operating independently within your sector. Your ability to anticipate needs, manage priorities, and build trusted relationships will be essential in supporting the leadership team as they navigate complex financial strategies and governance responsibilities.

What You’ll Bring

As a well-rounded Executive Assistant, you will:

  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.

  • Thrive in a dynamic environment, quickly build knowledge of the central banking sector and deliver results with precision and speed.

  • Adapt seamlessly to different leadership styles and operating patterns.

  • Collaborate regularly with the wider RBA EA community and leadership teams, using your interpersonal skills and integrity to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive management of email, calendars, and daily schedules.

  • Minute-taking and tracking action items from management and team meetings.

  • Coordination of domestic and international travel.

  • General administration, including correspondence, expenses, and reporting.

  • Preparation of Board and Committee materials.

  • Deliver high-quality work promptly in a fast-paced environment.

About You

  • Proactive and able to anticipate needs with confidence and initiative.

  • Assertive and skilled at managing expectations.

  • Highly organised, able to multitask, and thrive in an agile setting.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build trusted relationships quickly.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and adaptability to new technologies.

  • Approximately 10 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant.
