Overview:
The Services Enablement & Transformation (SET) team at Mastercard is seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and strategic Executive Assistant to provide top-tier support. This role goes beyond the traditional executive assistant responsibilities; it's a dynamic partnership focused on maximizing the executive’s impact and improving the team’s operating effectiveness and building relationships across the business. You will operate as a trusted advisor and right hand, managing day-to-day operational flow, ensuring the executive is focused on the highest-value activities.
The Services Enablement & Transformation (SET) team accelerates how Services Technology builds, delivers, and scales products by removing friction from the product development lifecycle. Acting as trusted partners across the organization, SET focuses on simplifying platforms, strengthening governance, advancing cloud and AI-driven ways of working, and improving developer experience, enabling teams to move faster, operate more consistently, and innovate at market speed without compromising security, quality, or trust.
This is a hybrid position based in O’Fallon, MO, requiring three days per week onsite.

Role:
• Manage and optimize complex executive calendars, meetings, and travel (domestic and international), including logistics, itineraries, and visa coordination.
• Serve as a strategic gatekeeper and liaison, managing internal and external communications with senior leaders, clients, and partners.
• Anticipate executive needs by preparing briefs, presentations, reports, and high-level correspondence.
• Coordinate and support operational planning, leadership meetings, and strategy reviews in partnership with leadership and/or Chief of Staff.
• Prepare agendas, capture key outcomes, and drive follow-ups to ensure accountability on priorities and deliverables.
• Plan and execute events, including leadership offsites and internal/external meetings, managing vendors, venues, and logistics.
• Oversee expense management, budget tracking, purchasing, and reconciliation in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain and manage tools, systems, and processes (e.g., expense platforms, access management, collaboration tools), ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Monitor and track projects, programs, and engagements through spreadsheets or systems to support business operations.
• Support onboarding of new team members and provide coordination across day-to-day team operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and executive effectiveness.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and executive presence at all times.

All About You:
• Significant experience supporting C-level or SVP-level executives in fast-paced, complex, and highly matrixed organizations.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting executive communications, presentations, and briefing materials.
• High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
• Expert calendar and priority management skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and navigate competing demands.
• Proven experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and partnering effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen with exposure to operations, strategy, or corporate functions.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 (including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams), along with collaboration tools such as Copilot and Zoom.
• Experience organizing executive travel (domestic and international), leadership meetings, board materials, and large-scale events.
• Financial coordination experience including expense management, budget tracking, and vendor oversight.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, exercise sound judgment, and represent leadership with professionalism and executive presence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Communications, or a related field, is desired.
• Professional experience in startup, technology, consulting, or corporate environments, is desired.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay Ranges
