The Role
The Howden CAP (Capital Advisory & Placement) Real Estate Industry Lead is hiring a highly organised and commercially minded Executive Assistant & Business Development Support professional to provide executive assistance, business development, reporting, and event coordination support.
This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across different areas of responsibility. The role combines structured executive support with data analysis, reporting, and coordination responsibilities. It offers the opportunity to work closely with the Real Estate Industry Lead and the Client Engagement team, supporting day-to-day business development activity.
What you'll do
Executive & Administrative Support
Manage expenses using Chrome River and coordinate invoice payments with the Accounts team
Organise and stay on top of all internal and external meetings
Organise and book all flights and accommodation for trips
Full access and control of day-to-day diary management
Inbox management, including taking control of emails whilst on holiday, at conferences, or at events
Join calls to take meeting notes and circulate actions where required
Work closely with the Events team to support the organisation of events and conferences
Real Estate Business Development Support
Attend and circulate notes from monthly cross-sell meetings
Prepare weekly meeting sheets for all meetings
Produce monthly deal reports from the CRM
Conduct industry research
Maintain excellent knowledge of the CRM to extract Real Estate data and revenue information when required
Coordinate quarterly Real Estate credentials updates
Coordinate annual Real Estate statistics updates
Produce the Quarterly Real Estate Cross-Sell Newsletter by working closely with the Client Engagement team
Event Coordination
Coordinate events, including planning input, business case support, invite lists, and budget tracking
Manage and track all ongoing invites
Work closely with the Events team to support delivery and ensure smooth execution
Support tracking of opportunities and follow-ups arising from events
Who we're looking for
Proven track record in an assistant role supporting an MD or senior executive
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Confident written communication skills, including note-taking and report preparation
Comfortable working with data and producing structured reports
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with CRM systems preferred
Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
