Recognizing the rapid advancements in AI technologies and their expanding potential to revolutionize a broad spectrum of scientific domains, NRF is launching the AI For Science (AI4S) funding initiative to leverage its research strengths, cutting-edge infrastructure, and interdisciplinary expertise to accelerate fundamental discoveries. By uniting AI specialists with scientific domain experts, this initiative aims to develop AI methods and tools that not only enhance how research is conducted but also propel Singapore’s position at the forefront of global scientific innovation.
The AI4S Programme Office will be located at the CREATE campus, co-located with research labs, to foster collaboration and co-creation.
We are seeking a dedicated Executive to join our AI4S Programme Office. This role offers excellent exposure to high-level academic operations, the opportunity to work with distinguished researchers and evaluation panels, and the chance to develop comprehensive administrative expertise in a academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluation Panel Support: You will coordinate and support evaluation panel meetings by securing appropriate venues and providing comprehensive on-site assistance to ensure meetings proceed smoothly and professionally.
Logistics Coordination: You will manage complex logistics for proposal reviews, including processing honorarium payments, arranging accommodation and flight bookings for visiting evaluators, coordinating ground transportation, and organising catering services to support programme activities.
Programme Office Administration: You will handle essential administrative functions including processing fund drawdowns, managing milestone submissions, and facilitating project change requests to ensure compliance and smooth programme delivery.
Job Requirements:
Diploma / bachelor’s degree in related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Previous experience in administrative or coordination roles will have an advantage.
Familiarity with university or research environments.
Knowledge of financial processing procedures.
