The Asian School of the Environment (ASE) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is a diverse school focusing on the connections between geosciences, ecology, society and Earth systems. Our approach integrates these disciplines to examine big environmental challenges both in Southeast Asia and globally. We conduct cutting-edge research on topics that include ecology, geohazards, climate change, sea-level rise, environmental sustainability, conservation of environment and biodiversity, and interactions between environment and society.
The Asian School of the Environment (ASE) at NTU is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Academic Administration Executive to support the academic programme administration and student lifecycle processes.
This role offers exposure to the full academic lifecycle — from admissions to graduation — and the opportunity to work closely with faculty and school leadership.
Responsibilities
Support the administration of undergraduate, postgraduate and executive programmes
Coordinate and process graduate admissions
Administer PhD Qualifying Examinations and oral defences
Maintain accurate student records and track academic milestones
Support the organization of academic events and student engagement activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred. Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
Experience or IT skillsets with workflow automation, data digitalisation, reporting tools or AI-based tools will be considered an advantage.
Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Good interpersonal, communication skills and a collaborative team player.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple timelines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Prior experience in a research or academic environment is advantageous.
Knowledge of the academic programme processes and requirements will be an added advantage.
