What you’ll do...

As part of the medical team, this role leads the design and analysis of Real-World Data (RWD) projects, ensuring that data-driven insights are central to decision-making across the portfolio. Responsibilities include driving integrated Evidence Generation plans and executing studies that support both established and emerging assets. Expertise in data analysis is essential for transforming complex data into actionable insights that align with business objectives.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Lead Swiss RWD platform (ATLAS) and governance: Own national dashboard curation and updates, ensure data quality and standards, deliver technical trainings, drive scientific outputs (abstracts/manuscripts), and represent Switzerland in global evidence forums.
  • Design and deliver evidence studies across the lifecycle: Develop study designs, protocols, and statistical analysis plans to address priority evidence gaps pre- and post launch, partnering cross functionally.
  • Transform data into actionable insights: Ingest, harmonize, and analyze multi source RWD (e.g., hospitalizations, mortality, claims), generate robust insights, and communicate findings through clear visualizations and stakeholder tailored narratives.
  • Advance AI/analytics for evidence generation: Serve as subject matter expert on AI/ML applications and lead end-to-end data analysis across the Evidence team.
  • Manage vendor ecosystem and data sourcing: Identify, assess, and onboard RWD vendors and datasets; continuously scan the Swiss landscape for new high value sources.
  • Ensure compliance and scientific rigor: Champion methodological best practices, reproducibility, and documentation; align with privacy, ethics, and regulatory standards.

Your Profile:

  • Experience leading data projects, including programming skills in R and/or Python
  • Degree in health sciences with a strong focus on quantitative methods
  • Biostatistical skills and experience
  • Knowledge of the Swiss health system and different available health databases
  • Good understanding of GCP
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry highly desired
  • Proficiency in English language and preferably one of the national Swiss languages
