Reporting to the EMEA lead for Events Marketing, the Events Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing events programs and the overall events plan. You will be working across multi-channel marketing approaches with internal and external agencies, as well as stakeholders. to build, plan, and execute the events programs across EMEA. The role will also be called upon to support a multitude of events and marketing activities across EMEA.
It is a Full-Time permanent role based out of London with an opportunity to grow the events programs and the role in the coming years.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Includes the following but other duties may be assigned:
Planning, budgeting, building, and executing marketing events programs in the region with broader EMEA Marketing team
Managing multiple events programs across the region
Budgeting, tracking, and payment management for events
Collaborating with third-party suppliers to produce marketing and event collateral
Providing operational onsite event support where needed/required
Continuously optimizing and improving the events process
Managing event data in CRM pre/post and event
Researching the market/region for potential industry events and partnerships
Managing the EMEA merchandise portfolio and eStore
Building and managing events exhibition materials (signage, collateral, SWAG, etc.)
Driving the brand Loyalty and retention programs in the region

Skills
Fluency in English, both written & spoken. Other European languages (French, German, Spanish, and/or Italian) is a plus
Good understanding of the right and most effective marketing mix and channels (events, conferences, email, web, social media, paid search and display);
Digital savviness in terms of executing local campaigns over different tools and channels;
Experience with CRM (e.g. Salesforce), marketing, and social media tools is an advantage (e.g. Pardot and Adobe Experience Manager);
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal;
Propensity to respond to deadlines ahead of schedule;
Detail oriented, analytical with strong planning skills;
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism;
PC proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint);
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, business or related fields is desirable;
Knowledge & Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a similar position;
Good knowledge of B2B marketing;
Previous experience in a technology SaaS company would be a great advantage, ideally in the financial services/legal sectors.
