THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Logistics Specialist to provide specialized oversight of installation and tear down of events and ensure that events are completed on time, in budget and meet company standards.
THE STARTING RATE: $23.00/Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Ensure that decor is installed and struck to meet corporate and client expectations, venue is left in Show Ready condition,and goods are handled to protect against damage
Develop clear knowledge of hotels/venues, dock/security procedures and ballroom specs
Assign projects and lead crews on-site; maximize talents and adhere to company and safety policies and procedures
Anticipate and solve on-site technical, creative and timeline issues in conjunction with management to meet deadlines
Operate company trucks, vans and lifts, notify management of gas and maintenance needs
Monitor handling and condition of tools/inventory/equipment/vehicles; document and report loss and damages
Communicate project status and timelines with internal departments, clients and vendors to maintain satisfaction
Stay current in design trends, technology, props/design elements, vendor products and share with/train teams to inspirecreativity
Actively promote MREP within the company and the events industry
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have a valid Driver's License
Has 2+ years of prior relevant experience in the events industry, hospitality, or a related field
