The Event Services Coordinator provides central coordination for various levels of small and large events. This includes pre/post event set-ups, coordination of services, and serving as a customer liaison.
This position is located in Stephenville, Texas with work hours of Monday to Friday; from 8 AM to 5PM or as business needs indicate. Work hours may vary during peak season and may be subject to after-hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Serves as Campus Security Authority (CSA).
Travel required to multiple work site locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide support for events including facility set-up/tear down, A/V support, coordination of campus services, and serving as onsite customer liaison.
Schedule, process, and confirm event requests for departments, student organizations, and external users.
Coordinate other campus services for events as needed.
Oversee student staff including conducting orientation and training, scheduling daily tasks/duties, and supervising during events.
Maintain and coordinate centralized events calendar.
Assist with the coordination of summer camps.
Perform other duties as assigned, including serving satellite campuses.
Minimum Requirements
Education – Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience – Three years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills.
Capability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Strong organizational skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Ability to be accountable, responsible, and dependable member of the Campus Operations team.
Ability to work flexible hours and extended schedule to support events and duties that take place outside the normal operating hours.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Salary Range: The target base annual salary range is $41,000 up to $50,761 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
