About our team

RX Global aims to create unforgettable experiences for attendees and exhibitors through organizing events. Innovation, creativity, and collaboration drive the company to offer exceptional services to clients.

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the planning and delivery of multiple UK and international events each year. Working closely with the Operations and Exhibition Directors, you will oversee on‑site operations, infrastructure, logistics, budgets, and Health & Safety compliance to ensure events are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard for customers and exhibitors. Working within the RX UK Operations team, this role requires strong project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. You will work independently to solve complex operational challenges, contribute to continuous improvement, and act as a knowledgeable support for colleagues, bringing a practical, inclusive, and solutions‑focused approach to event delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for exhibitors, contractors, venue teams, and internal RX stakeholders on all on‑site operational matters
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee on‑site event delivery to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient execution
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute clear exhibitor manuals and operational documentation
  • Partner with the Event Director to ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards and best practices
  • Review and approve stand designs in line with venue, safety, and event requirements
  • Manage and optimise floor plans to maximise space efficiency and customer experience
  • Conduct site visits and lead on‑site exhibition operations across UK and international venues
  • Identify risks, resolve issues proactively, and contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes

Requirements

  • Experience delivering operational management within exhibitions, events, or comparable environments
  • Strong project management skills, including effective budget management, with the ability to manage complex activity from planning through to delivery
  • Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders across teams, suppliers, and cultures
  • Experience leading, supporting, or coordinating operational teams
  • A practical, solutions‑focused approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety practices relevant to event delivery
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent
