Job Description: Event Marketing Manager
Job Summary
The Event Marketing Manager is a dynamic and essential role focused on the strategic planning and onsite execution of key aspects of the annual, proprietary Trimble Insight Conference, a 2.5-day event for customers, competitors, and prospects. This includes leading the sponsorship program, managing the expo hall ("Insight Pavilion") layout, and overseeing the attendee experience programs for "Rookies" (first-time attendees) and "Veterans" (5+ time attendees).
While often independently owning projects from inception to completion, the manager will also contribute to larger initiatives under the guidance of a lead. This role reports to the Sr. Event Strategist and is a core part of the Marketing and Events Teams, requiring close collaboration with Sales leadership and internal company stakeholders.
The manager is also responsible for coordinating Trimble’s participation in external trade shows. This involves managing logistics with the exhibit house, staff registration, securing sponsorships, and coordinating all necessary creative assets.
Success in this role directly impacts the achievement of key customer, operational, and project objectives and is guided by organization function policies. It requires strong leadership, creative problem-solving, a willingness to experiment with calculated risks, exceptional attention to detail, and clear, proactive communication. Event Marketing Managers on this team are seasoned professionals in the conference and trade show space, driven to collaborate, and focused on evaluating impact. Some travel is required.
