A Cashier is responsible for timely, efficient and accurate cash and credit card transactions and reporting. Cashier will also be responsible for setting-up, maintaining and cleaning their workstation.
Responsibilities:
Prepare simple menu items and serving them to the guests.
Sell items, collect payment and make correct change.
Interact with customers in order to ensure superior customer satisfaction.
Handle an assigned bank and follow all cash handling procedures if in cash stand, or use MyVenue following PCI to charge guests correctly.
Perform closing duties including clean up, product storage, spoilage logs and trash removal.
Provide quick, efficient, accurate and friendly service to all guests.
Verify I.D. on all customers ordering alcohol every time on every transaction.
Suggestively sell and up sell items.
Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area.
Interact with co-workers in order to ensure compliance with company service standards, company inventory, PCI credit card and cash control procedures.
Ability to perform arithmetic operation involving all United States monetary units (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
TEAM Alcohol Server certification, or ability to complete training (offered at new hire orientation).
Willingness to work in an outdoor stadium subject to adversarial weather (ex. freezing temperatures, rain, sleet, snow & hot, mid-summer days)
Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to interact with co-workers positively in order to assure compliance with company service standards.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high volume, team orientated setting.
Must be able to work in English to service the guests, and service all guests with speed, accuracy to create a positive guest experience.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps.
Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing for long periods of time at the register and reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, lifting, restocking and pulling also potentially for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in an environment with an ignition source.
Must be able to twist open cans and bottles for alcohol service as this is done repetitively during guest service.
Must be able to hear guests’ orders and communicate with guests.
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
Must have a working email to communicate with the Concessions and Legends management teams.
Complete other duties as assigned by the Concessions Manager and/or Concessions Supervisor, as well as Legends management.
Must be available for the majority of Colorado Rapids games, which take place on Saturdays & Wednesdays:

May 9th, 23rd
July 22nd
August 1st, 15th, 19th, 29th
September 12th, 19th
October 10th, 14th, 24th, 31st
Colorado Rapids 2 minor league games (Sundays)
