The Catering Attendant delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Premium Manager and Premium Supervisors. Sets up, serves and breaks down functions. Works in different roles within the Premium department at various locations, including ad hoc catering events and tournaments.
Responsibilities
Monitor and observe guests dining experience - Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service – check with customers to make sure they have everything they need each time you arrive at a table
Respond appropriately to guest requests and escalate any requests you cannot handle to your section supervisor.
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned service areas
Provide guidance to guests including dining options and general attraction information.
Completes opening and closing duties as directed by management, including general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware.
Sets up, maintains, and breaks down food warmers, utensils, hotboxes, for all functions; logs and maintains consistent food temperatures.
Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations, arranges tables and decorations with food, beverage and service items according to standards.
Returns food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to proper location.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of complete menu, products on hand, as well as one-of-a-kind items for promotions or special events
Complete other duties as assigned by the Premium Manager and/or Premium Supervisors, as well as Legends management
Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience working in the food and beverage industry as a busser or food runner
TEAM Alcohol Server certification, or ability to complete training (offered at new hire orientation).
Willingness to work in an outdoor stadium subject to adversarial weather (ex. freezing temperatures, rain, sleet, snow & hot, mid-summer days)
Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Must have the ability to skillfully carry at least two entrée plates at the same time for long distances up to 150 ft, including outside and through crowds.
Ability to read, speak and write English Language in order to communicate with guests, as well as read kitchen tickets, understand seat numbers & table numbers, and course breakdowns
Ability to read and understand a Banquet Event Order (BEO) and various menus, as well as how your role ensures that items arrive at the correct location.
Ability to retain and recite menu details, especially one-of-a-kind items for promotions or special events
Have an understanding of the expo process in fast-paced food service, as well as food and beverage preparations, table settings, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time while navigating ramps, stairs and elevators. Must be able to transport up to 50 lbs. (ex. Boxes, kegs, carts, hotboxes) on a continuous basis in food and beverage, including standing and walking for long periods of time, kneeling, crouching, bending, etc.
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
Must have a working email to communicate with the Concessions and Legends management teams.
Must be available for the majority of Colorado Rapids games, which take place on Saturdays & Wednesdays:

Colorado Rapids 2 minor league games (Sundays)
