The Events Coordinator, Sales Events & Brand Partnerships is a team-player, responsible for supporting the team with a variety of broker and Zillow-owned events. In this role, you'll have increasing responsibility beyond purely administrative duties, owning coordination of smaller broker events. You will also assist event leads with project management support on larger format events.
You'll work closely with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Sales, Communications, and external vendors, to deliver seamless event experiences. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of how events connect to Zillow's business priorities while building foundational skills in event strategy, stakeholder management, and production.
Own coordination of smaller broker events end-to-end, managing all aspects from planning through execution
Assist event leads on larger events by project managing workstreams across multiple events, tracking timelines and coordinating with cross-functional partners
Ordering event needs including booth requirements, swag, event registration, lead capture tools, while managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely delivery
Manage printing and shipping orders for event materials, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery to event locations
Use templates to create event content and materials such as attendee communications, agendas, and speaker briefs
Manage event timelines and budgets, tracking expenses and reconciling invoices to ensure events stay within budget parameters
Coordinate with vendors including venue contacts, caterers, AV/tech partners, and production companies, building strong relationships that move work forward efficiently
Provide clear, accurate direction to event attendees, speakers, and vendors both onsite and virtually, ensuring everyone knows where to be, when to arrive, and what's happening next
Proactively and independently recap meetings and event debriefs for the broader team with minimal editing required
Identify risks within owned workstreams such as timing conflicts, vendor dependencies, budget concerns, or capacity issues, and flag them early with proposed solutions
Contribute ideas on event formats, logistics solutions, run-of-show adjustments, and experience elements that support event objectives and strategies
Gather post-event feedback and compile reports on event success metrics, lessons learned, and process improvements
Understand how event work supports broader company and brand goals including sales enablement, agent engagement, brand visibility, and partnership development
Proactively flag areas or processes in need of improvement such as templates, checklists, or communication flows
2+ years professional experience in events, marketing, or creative agency roles.
Thrives working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Can work with minimal supervision, comprehends project requirements quickly, and proactively supports others to execute critical aspects of high-profile events.
Adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks while maintaining close attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities, demands, and deadlines.
Demonstrated professionalism, initiative, and a high degree of responsibility.
Ability to travel (15-25%) and attend in person events.
Proven competency in software applications, including Google Workspace, Zoom, and other technology as adopted by the team
