THE JOB

The Events & Employer Brand Intern plays a hands-on role in bringing VEG’s events, brand experiences, and culture storytelling to life. This 6 month internship sits at the intersection of event execution, employer brand, merchandising, and content, supporting both the experiences we create and how we share them.

 

You’ll be deeply involved in the full event lifecycle—helping plan, prep, and execute events, while also supporting on-site coordination, vendor management, and post-event wrap-ups. Alongside events, you’ll contribute to the day-to-day operations of the VEG Store, including inventory management, fulfillment, and limited-edition product launches.

 

You’ll also be supporting the Employer Brand team on culture and storytelling initiatives, including campaign coordination, content support, and light reporting and insights.

 

Working across teams including Events, Marketing, Talent, and Operations, you’ll gain exposure to experiential marketing, employer brand, and nonprofit initiatives. Your time will be balanced across key focus areas: VEG Cares and Culture initiatives, internal events and conferences, the VEG Store, and Employer Brand storytelling.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide support for end-to-end execution of industry conferences and VEG internal events, including planning, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site operations.
  • Support communications for events and brand experiences, including crafting pre-event messaging and recaps.
  • Help manage operational and administrative needs for our VEG Store, including merch inventory and fulfillment, sample coordination, and shipping. 
  • Support Employer Brand storytelling by helping gather stories and content, and project managing to ensure information is collected and given to creative team in a timely manner
  • Contribute to culture projects and internal initiatives by collecting content, tracking engagement, pulling and organizing data (e.g., social, survey, and platform metrics)

 

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
  • A strong interest in events, brand storytelling, experiential marketing, brand building, and employee experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and keep details on track
  • Strong storytelling instincts, with the ability to identify meaningful moments and help translate them into clear, engaging narratives
  • Comfort working with data and insights, including pulling, organizing, and synthesizing information (e.g., surveys, engagement metrics, or reporting dashboards)
  • Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with many stakeholders.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in and support where needed
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

  • Paid 6 month internship at $25 per hour with a flexible schedule (maximum of 40 hours per week).
