What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and coordinate daily operations of the sand and gravel plant during evening shift

  • Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure efficiency and safety

  • Train, guide, and support plant personnel to meet performance goals

  • Perform routine inspections and assist with maintenance planning

  • Promote and enforce safety, environmental, and company policies

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in an industrial or manufacturing setting

  • Strong understanding of aggregate plant operations and equipment

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively

  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands of the Job

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift materials up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift

  • Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively

  • Visual and auditory ability to identify hazards and communicate clearly in a noisy environment

  • Capability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed

  • Endurance to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
