About the role

The Evelyn's Restaurant Private Events Supervisor leads the coordination and organization of private dining experiences, large‑party reservations, and full restaurant buyouts for Evelyn’s Restaurant. This role provides operational leadership to the reservations and events workflow, ensuring personalized, accurate, and timely communication with guests and internal teams. Focused on delivering a seamless luxury experience, the Evelyn's Restaurant Private Events Supervisor manages high‑profile bookings, supports sales initiatives, and ensures flawless execution of special events and reservations from inquiry through completion.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for private dining, large‑party bookings, and full buyouts, ensuring all guest needs and event details are accurately coordinated.

• Manage all reservation inquiries, emails, and group booking requests, ensuring timely follow‑up, consistency, and adherence to Four Seasons guest‑service standards.

• Oversee group files, ensuring all information is current, complete, and documented prior to arrival; prepare weekly summaries of all active and upcoming groups.

• Partner closely with Operations, Culinary, and Sales teams to ensure alignment on guest movements, event details, setups, and service expectations.

• Represent the department in interdepartmental meetings to communicate upcoming groups, special events, and operational needs.

• Lead and coach the Evelyn’s Restaurant team in the absence of a Restaurant Manager.

• Maintain knowledge of menu items, restaurant offerings, promotions, and guest experiences to support sales conversion and upselling.

• Support quality metrics including LQA, internal standards testing, and other service‑excellence criteria; ensure reservations processes reflect FS standards.

• Assist with handling complex situations, guest concerns, and special requests in the absence of management, using diplomacy and sound judgment.

• Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and organization of all reservation files, event notes, and communication logs.

• Actively contribute to new departmental projects, enhancements to workflow, and overall service‑improvement initiatives.

• Participate in departmental meetings and support employee dining experiences, group follow‑ups, and cross‑department communication.

What you bring

• At least 2–3 years of luxury restaurant reservations, private events coordination, or front‑of‑house supervisory experience, preferably in a high‑end hotel or resort.

• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

• Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, event planning, and luxury service standards.

• Strong time‑management skills: ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced dining and events environment.

• Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary for the role; knowledge of SevenRooms, OpenTable, Opera, and Microsoft Office preferred/is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate closely with Culinary, Operations, Sales, and other departments.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 20 lbs. for occasional event setup support.

Schedule & Hours:

•    Full‑Time / Supervisor Level

•    This position requires the flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
