About the role

As our European Accounts Director, you’ll take charge of Dyson’s partnership with one of the continent’s biggest retailers. You’ll set the direction across all markets with a key retailer, making sure performance, brand standards, and long-term goals align.

You’ll lead a central team of two (Operational Excellence Senior Manager and Go-to-Market Senior Manager), plus coordinate with a dotted-line network of Key Account Managers based across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, Turkey, Italy, Spain, and Poland. This blend of central and local expertise relies on your leadership to drive alignment, raise standards, and deliver results.

Your focus will include:

  • Rebuilding and elevating the Dyson's partnership with a key retailer—owning eight strategic pillars: aftersales, operational excellence, range, retail media, product launches, engagement, strategic alignment, and terms.
  • Pushing forward projects such as better supply availability, direct deliveries, exclusive launches, bigger in-store presence, upgraded retail media, and engaging with the retailer's staff.
  • Delivering operational excellence—shaping predictable terms, stronger margins, next-level product lifecycle management, and sharper quarterly planning.
  • Advancing data-driven decision making at every touchpoint in the shopper journey.
  • Steering joint business planning, retail events, innovation weeks, exclusive campaigns and flagship product launches.
  • Championing a new Dyson + retailer model—building deeper ties and expert-to-expert relationships at the top level.

You’ll work closely with teams from Global Retail, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning to guarantee a seamless Dyson experience across Europe.

About you

You’re a commercial leader, experienced in major European retail partnerships—ideally across regions. You mix sharp strategy with hands-on discipline, easily influencing stakeholders at all levels.

You’ll excel if you:

  • Have led a multi-country retail account, ideally in consumer electronics or a fast-paced premium sector.
  • Are energised by complex commercial challenges, bringing structure and drive to big partnerships.
  • Lead both directly and through dotted-line teams—balancing consistency and local nuance.
  • Build trust with senior retail partners, negotiating lasting, strategic deals.
  • Use data and insight to steer decisions, track performance, and drive retail success.
  • Work at pace, push for better, and don’t settle.
