Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and delivery‑driven Regional Marine Geophysics Client Deliverables Planner to directly influence the success of marine geophysical projects. This is a pivotal role for a structured individual who thrives on planning, coordination, and turning complex engineering programmes into successful, on‑time deliveries. The position can be based in any of the marine geophysics offices within EUAF, but preferably Aberdeen, Scotland or Nootdorp, Netherlands.
As the Regional Marine Geophysics Client Deliverables Planner you take the lead in coordinating onshore client deliverables personnel resources to ensure every project runs smoothly during the processing, interpretation, charting and final reporting phase. This role places you at the heart of the regional Client Deliverables team where you will balance people, schedules and competence priorities to deliver high quality geo data services that meet client expectations.
Your ability to adapt plans, and maintain strong communication across the department will be key to delivering accurate and timely results. Your role and responsibilities
You have the freedom to develop a resource planning model designed to facilitate
regional personnel utilisation.
You plan and manage onshore CD geophysical data processing, interpretation and
reporting personnel deployment.
You ensure CD geo-data project roles are filled utilising regional personnel resources
(and then inter-regional and freelance staff.
You maintain effective staffing levels, maximise personnel utilisation, forecast
resource needs, and support performance and development discussions.
You collaborate with entity based geophysical CDD planning representatives, SLMs,
CD Managers where necessary.
You ensure equitable distribution (ensure fair distribution of projects to prevent
burnout and maintain morale).
You settle resourcing disputes between entities. Act as the central point of contact to
harmonize resource planning between entities (being the final authority to make the
decision)
What you will need to thrive in this role
You hold a BSc/BA. Degree in a relevant field, or relevant experience;
You have proven experience in strategic resource planning within complex
multi-project environments;
You have a background in leading teams across office environments, including
performance guidance and staffing support;
You possess some knowledge of marine geophysical data processing/interpretation
and reporting workflows, and the ability to adapt plans to shifting priorities;
You have excellent planning, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills;
proficient in English.
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
High performer with a track record of delivering results.
