Job Description

Assist in designing, building and maintaining data pipelines using AWS services, PL-SQL, Snowflake, Informatica & MS Fabric. Learn and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to the development life cycle. Through time and exposure, gain specific application and technology knowledge to participate in and contribute to the specification and design development process for ETL components across the portfolio. Create system and operating documentation. Receive technical guidance and day-to-day direction from Sr. Tech Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, building and maintaining data pipelines using AWS services, PL-SQL, Snowflake, Informatica & MS Fabric

  • Ingest, clean and transform data from various sources (structured and semi-structured)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure reliable data delivery

  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.

  • Maintain documentation of data flows, transformations, and architecture

  • Orchestrate data pipeline using scheduling tools - Tidal, TWS

  • Contribute ideas and effort toward continuous improvement of processes and performance

  • Communicate overall status of assigned development tasks to leadership and project team members.


Required Qualifications

  • Have bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other Technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.

  • 2-4 years of IT Experience

  • Good understanding of ETL/ELT concepts.

  • Hands-on experience in creating data pipelines using AWS services: Glue, Athena, S3, Ec2, Lambda etc.

  • Strong foundation in PL/SQL, Python & Spark framework, with hands-on experience in building scalable pipelines.

  • Strong analytical & data analysis skills.

  • Basic understanding of snowflake architecture & query optimization.

  • Good communication Skills

  • Eagerness to learn and explore new data tools and framework

  • Strong academic performance and problem-solving mindset


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts & version control like bitbucket (Good to have)

  • Experience working with Informatica PowerExchange, Tivoli Work Scheduler (TWS), Mainframe
