Job Description & Summary

A career in our SAP Cloud practice, within SAP Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients maximise the value of their SAP investment with offerings that address sales, finance, supply chain, engineering, and human capital. We provide comprehensive consulting, system integration and implementation services across multiple SAP applications, products and technologies. Simply put, we focus on delivering business led, technology enabled change for our clients including industry specific enterprise resource planning and the latest in mobile, analytics and cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and operate data solutions on SAP Datasphere as part of the SAP Business Data Cloud, with a strong focus on data modeling, harmonization, governance concepts, and scalable data product design.

• Act as a bridge between business and IT: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into robust, semantically enriched data models.

• Design and implement space- and layer-based architectures (Inbound, Transformation, Reporting) to enable flexible authorization concepts and data reuse.

• Develop and maintain complex SQL-based models and views optimized for performance, reusability, and analytical consumption.

• Build analytical models with strong business semantics to support reporting, analytics, and planning use cases.

• Enable and support data consumption in SAP Analytics Cloud and selected third-party tools, ensuring consistency and governance.

• Integrate data from SAP and non-SAP sources, following enterprise data standards.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all Datasphere objects and exposed data products.

• Contribute to data migration and modernization initiatives, supporting the transition from legacy DWH approaches toward a modern data fabric architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable field.

• At least 2 years of professional experience working with relevant data & analytics tools and technologies, ideally in an enterprise or consulting environment.

• Practical, hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere is required or strongly preferred, including data modeling, integration, and working with spaces and data products.

• Experience with SAP BW (BW/4HANA or BW 7.x) is a strong plus, especially regarding data modeling and the transfer of classical DWH concepts into the Datasphere context.

• Strong data modeling and SQL skills, with a focus on building semantically rich, reusable analytical models.

• Basic knowledge and first hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud is expected.

• Basic understanding and first touchpoints with Databricks or comparable modern data platforms are beneficial.

• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data integration patterns, and coding practices is helpful.

• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) are required; German language skills are a plus.

• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and IT stakeholders.
