As a Salesforce consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad range of consulting skills and experience across various Salesforce applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Salesforce applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

As a Salesforce Developer Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions that meet our business needs. You will lead a team of Salesforce developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality Salesforce applications. 

Examples of the skills, knowledge, and experiences you need to lead and deliver value at this level include but are not limited to: 

  • Support the leadership and management of the new Salesforce Practice by taking an active role in the Salesforce delivery team  

  • Responsibility for coaching and developing more junior team members  

  • Delivering exceptional client service and solutions across the Salesforce products 

  • Work with a global mindset with teams based in the UK, Germany and other EMEA Countries 

  • Leading delivery teams to deliver solutions that are on scope, time, quality and budget 

  • Lead and manage the Salesforce team, providing guidance and support to developers and administrators. 

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Salesforce initiatives in alignment with business goals. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements. 

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce applications and solutions. 

  • Ensure the integration of Salesforce with other systems and applications. 

  • Design and maintain the system architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. 

  • Monitor and optimize Salesforce performance, ensuring data integrity and security. 

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of Salesforce configurations and customizations. 

  • Stay informed about the latest Salesforce features, updates, and industry best practices. 

  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximize Salesforce adoption and usage. 

  • At least 6 years of hands-on development experience in implementing business logic in APEX, creating LW components, creating VF pages, performing configuration on the Salesforce platform 

  • Open-minded team player with a strong track record in leading developer teams during complex IT implementation projects 

  • Capable to design architecture of technical solutions based on strong understanding of business processes 

  • Ability to estimate project scope, work independently on offers and make reliable quotes. 

  • Proven experience in object-oriented programming 

  • Clear understanding of Model View Controller architecture 

  • Competency in relational databases and SQL 

  • Knowledge of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies

  • Candidate has obtained several relevant Salesforce certifications: 

  • Admin, Advanced Admin 

  • App Builder, Platform Dev 1 & 2 

  • Sales, Service or other industry cloud certifications 

  • Basic Architect-track certifications 

  • Practical knowledge of project tools (including Change Sets and code repository)
