In product management, you will be the general manager of commercial and internal products. You will sit at the intersection of the business, user experience, and the technologies that solve our customer and end-user problems; confirming they meet market demands and drive business growth. You will design, develop and manage activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Your involvement will last throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades, maintenance of the product or product line. For commercial products, it also includes commercialization, go-to-market planning, sales, and other key business support activities.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. 

Role Description/ Purpose

The Product Manager is responsible for executing the product vision and strategy for a specific product or products within PwC. This role acts as a critical link between customer needs, market opportunities and the delivery team, shaping the product concept and roadmap. The Product Manager ensures that product development is aligned with business goals, while also guiding junior team members in product management best practices and PwC’s digital ways of working.

Key Responsibilities/ Activities

Product Strategy & Roadmap
Execute product vision and strategy aligned with product objectives.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap to guide cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Prioritise features that drive revenue and customer adoption.
Conduct competitive analysis to inform product positioning and evolution of the product(s).
Customer and Market Insight
Synthesise market trends, competitive intelligence and customer interviews to develop and refine product concepts.
Analyse customer feedback to identify areas for product improvement and innovation.
Product Development & Delivery
Create and maintain release plans, including prioritisation of epics and user stories.
Write clear, actionable user stories and product requirements.
Collaborate closely with product designers on UI design, wireframes and prototypes.
Manage and adjust development sprints in response to stakeholder inputs and evolving priorities.
Evaluate feature requests for alignment with product strategy and communicate prioritisation decisions.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Lead and facilitate non-Scrum meetings involving design, engineering, QA, architectures and business SMEs.
Estimate effort at the story level in collaboration with engineering; validate and refine estimates as needed.
Assess and analyse actual vs. estimated engineering effort, identify discrepancies and propose process improvements.
Influence internal stakeholders to gain alignment and adoption of the product vision and strategy.
Mentor and guide Product Owners in both product practices and digital upskilling.

Relevant Experience

4+ years of relevant experience

Particular industries, domains or technologies that the person should be familiar with

Proven experience in product management within a technology-driven or digital business. Minimum of  5+ years in a Product Manager role with full accountability for product decisions.
Prior work in an Agile/Scrum environment with responsibility for backlog ownership and release planning.
Experience working with cross-functional product teams including design, engineering, and QA.
Exposure to SaaS product development and delivery.
Hands-on experience writing user stories, defining epics, and leading product lifecycle processes.
Familiarity with market research techniques, customer feedback synthesis, and competitive analysis.
Mentoring or leadership experience within a product or digital team setting.

Training/ Qualifications Required

Any certifications, educational background or mandatory training

Bachelor Degree (Business, Computer Science), Certified Product Manager - i.e. PSPO II Certification or A-CSPO 

Preferred Communication Skills

Expectations for internal or client engagement levels and of English proficiency

Able to confidently lead meetings, write product documentation and present to stakeholders in English.
Capable of articulating complex technical or strategic ideas in a clear and persuasive manner.
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for both internal collaboration and external engagement.
Expected to adapt tone and clarity based on the audience—executive, technical or customer-facing.
