Ethics & Compliance Officer ANZ & Malaysia & Singapore

We are seeking an experienced Ethics & Compliance Officer to join our APAC Ethics & Compliance team and play a critical role in strengthening compliance programs across our CSL Business Units.

This is an influential role where you’ll partner closely with senior leaders, advise on complex compliance matters, and help embed ethical decision making across diverse commercial and scientific functions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Implement global, regional and cluster Ethics & Compliance strategies across ANZ & MYSG and deliver risk based programs aligned with global and local requirements.
• Act as a key compliance advisor, supporting leaders with specialist guidance, conducting risk assessments, mapping controls and advising on anti bribery, anti corruption, healthcare compliance and industry codes.
• Develop and maintain policies, SOPs and compliance guidance, while driving engaging training and strengthening a culture of ethics, integrity and accountability.
• Partner with EREC (Enterprise Risk Ethics & Compliance) to deliver continuous monitoring, provide timely reporting to leadership and support quarterly compliance committee reviews.
• Lead investigations into potential non compliance, ensuring appropriate resolution and remediation, and oversee third party due diligence, certifications and ongoing monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Legal, HR, Medical Affairs and other key functions to integrate compliance into everyday business practices.

Your Experience:

• 10+ years’ experience in ethics & compliance, legal, or risk management roles, ideally in life sciences, pharma, biotech, or medical devices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Risk, Finance, Auditing, Business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong familiarity with FCPA, Medicines Australia Code, Medsafe NZ, SAPI Code, Malaysia PhAMA Code and industry best practice.
• Demonstrated experience designing compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and managing investigations.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to balance business realities and compliance obligations.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin language capability preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
