As a risk management generalist at PwC, you will provide advisory and practical support to teams across a wide range of specialist risk and compliance areas.

As a Compliance Associate at PwC Canada, you will be a key member of the Ethics and Compliance team, helping to mitigate compliance risks, strengthen internal controls, and drive operational efficiencies. In this position, you will collaborate closely with multiple business units and contribute to the ongoing improvement of compliance processes and controls. You will support both the advisory and controls pillar as well as the testing and monitoring pillar. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Compliance Business Partner in the collaboration with business units to support the execution of compliance projects and initiatives
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining processes to continuously monitor compliance performance across various business disciplines. For example, assist with compliance program data collection, analyze the data, and manage it.
- Support routine monitoring and trend analysis efforts to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for corrective action
- Leverage Assurance QMSE methodologies, tools, and expertise to enhance efficiency of firmwide compliance testing and monitoring activities
- Develop, update, and maintain dashboards and performance metrics for leadership review and decisionmaking.
- Support the preparation of compliance reports, executive communications, and stakeholder updates
- Assist in creating and delivering compliance training materials and sessions to foster a culture of compliance awareness
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools and emerging technologies to enhance compliance activities and improve operational efficiency
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in compliance oversight processes, tools, and reporting.
Qualifications:
Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications in compliance or risk management (e.g., CAMS, CCEP) are an asset.
