Bunnings Frame and Truss are now looking for an Estimation Coordinator / Manager for our newest F&T sites in Wacol QLD and Minto NSW. With use of the latest software, excellent training and development strategies from Bunnings Group and help from our National F&T team now has never been a better time to join Bunnings F&T.

About the Role:

As the Estimating Coordinator for our site in either Minto or Wacol you will be responsible for the ongoing guidance, planning and completion of estimates for our Frame and Truss offerings in accordance to building code standards and client requirements. You will also be required to develop team, assist in recruitment for future Estimators whilst providing weekly reporting.

In addition to the above your role will help drive the future of F&T at Bunnings, by developing new strategies and ways of working as our business continues to expand across Australia and New Zealand. You will be required to monitor and measure customer service levels, liaise with the Commercial Sales teams to educate them on manufacturing capabilities, products, service that will help drive sales and increase greater knowledge for Best Experience and Service whilst also ensuring the manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness.

With 5 Timber Frame & Truss Sites operating in Wacol, Warnervale, Minto, Hallam and Truganina there couldn’t be a better time to join the Bunnings Commercial team as we look to continue our growth in VIC, QLD and NSW. You will have access to a wide range of knowledge and experience whilst reporting directly to our National F&T Relationship Manager.

With plans to grow the team both internally and externally you can expect to lead the overall team of 6+ Estimators from Junior to Senior level. You will have a variety of Vendors, Suppliers, Clients and greater Bunnings Group to work with in which your leadership and influencing skills will be tested daily. As the F&T team continues to grow your role will be essential in helping to streamline processes and manage internal expectations.

What’s involved:

  • Action customer feedback to improve the end to end customer experience
  • Develop performance targets to improve Estimating performance
  • Ensure Estimating teams are fully trained in the latest software and manufacturing techniques.
  • Prepare costing that achieve minimum margin as set by the business and aim to maximize gross profit

You’ll need:

As an Estimation Coordinator / Manager for Frame and Truss you will be a highly driven individual with a strong knowledge of Frame & Truss, Construction, Manufacturing or Leadership within Bunnings. Previous experience in leading large teams with a focus on Quoting/Estimating or Design with an ability to Develop strong teams. You must be able to wear many hats, influence multiple stakeholders and have a solid understanding of reporting, KPI’s (Margin, Timelines, Sales) and exceeding client expectations.
