Job Summary: The Esthetician provides professional skincare services and treatments to guests, ensuring a relaxing, results-driven experience aligned with spa standards. This role delivers personalized care through facials, waxing, and other skin treatments while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming spa environment.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Perform a variety of skincare services including customized facials, exfoliation treatments, extractions, masks, and facial massage
• Conduct client consultations to understand skincare goals and recommend appropriate services, home care, and products
• Perform waxing services including facial and body hair removal using approved techniques and safety protocols
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records, treatment notes, and product usage in accordance with spa procedures
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and properly sanitized before and after each service
• Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety guidelines at all times
• Promote retail skincare products and educate guests on post-treatment care and daily regimens
• Support overall spa operations by assisting with laundry, front desk coverage, or guest support as needed
• Stay current on skincare trends, product knowledge, and continuing education requirements
• Provide exceptional service by creating a calm, personalized, and professional experience for each guest

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

• Valid Esthetician license in the applicable state
• Previous spa or salon experience preferred, especially in a resort or luxury setting
• Strong knowledge of skincare treatments, skin types, and contraindications
• Proficient in facial techniques, waxing, and the use of professional skincare products
• Excellent communication, consultation, and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor with a focus on guest confidentiality and comfort
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative spa team
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm movements during treatments
• Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in a spa treatment room with dim lighting, calming music, and controlled temperatures
• Frequent standing, bending, and use of hands during treatments
• Exposure to skincare products, cleaning solutions, and low-level background scents
• Interaction with guests, spa colleagues, and other hotel departments in a calm, service-focused setting
