Job Description – AVP, ESG Client Reporting

Role Summary
The AVP – ESG Client Reporting is responsible for leading ESG and sustainability client reporting services, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant delivery. The role combines ESG subject-matter knowledge, people leadership, and stakeholder management within a regulated asset management environment.


Key Responsibilities
 

  • Lead day-to-day ESG client reporting BAU delivery and ensure adherence to controls.
  • Oversee preparation of ESG reports, factsheets, and ad-hoc client deliverables.
  • Ensure reporting aligns with ESG frameworks such as EU Taxonomy, SFDR, TCFD, PLSA, and engagement reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and client-facing groups to manage delivery and issue resolution.
  • Provide guidance, quality oversight, and performance management for team members.
  • Drive process efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.


Experience & Skills
 

  • 12–15 years of experience in Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Financial Services.
  • Strong background in client reporting, preferably ESG or sustainability reporting.
  • Working knowledge of ESG regulations and disclosures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated people management and stakeholder communication skills.


Tools & Technical Skills
 

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with PDF editing tools.
  • Exposure to Adobe InDesign or Illustrator is preferred.
