Escrow Assistant / Associate Escrow Officer

Build Your Career. Drive Real Transactions. Deliver Exceptional Experiences.

At First American, we’re transforming the real estate closing experience -bringing together high-touch service and modern technology to move faster, work smarter, and deliver for our customers.

We’re looking for an Escrow Assistant / Associate Escrow Officer in [Location] who is energized by a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and wants to grow into a high-impact role.

This is not just a support position - it’s your opportunity to learn the business, take ownership, and build a long-term career in escrow.

What You’ll Be Doing (Day-to-Day)

No two days are the same and that’s the point.

  • Keep multiple real estate transactions moving from open to close
  • Communicate with clients, agents, lenders, and partners—by phone, email, and in person
  • Prepare and review documents, ensuring everything is accurate and complete
  • Spot issues early and help solve them before they impact closing
  • Manage deadlines, priorities, and details across several files at once
  • Use systems and tools to stay organized and efficient

You’ll be in the middle of the action - helping bring deals across the finish line.

What We’re Looking For

We’re hiring for mindset and capability, not just experience.

  • You like working with people and building relationships
  • You are responsive—you don’t let calls sit or emails go unanswered
  • You stay organized and focused, even when things get busy
  • You take ownership—you don’t wait to be told what to do
  • You’re comfortable using technology and learning new systems
  • You’re detail-oriented but can still move with speed
  • You want a career—not just a job

Experience in escrow, real estate, financial services, or operations is helpful but not required for the right candidate.

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience in real estate transactions
  • A clear path to Escrow Officer and beyond
  • Exposure to industry-leading tools and technology
  • A team that values performance, growth, and collaboration

What Sets This Role Apart

  • High touch: you’ll work directly with clients and partners
  • High impact: your work directly affects closing outcomes
  • High growth: you’ll build skills that translate into long-term career advancement

The Future of This Role

The escrow professional of the future still wins on trust and relationships—
but operates with greater speed, stronger judgment, and smarter use of technology.

If you’re someone who:

  • enjoys solving problems
  • thrives in a fast-moving environment
  • and wants to grow into a role with real responsibility

we want to meet you.
