The Chief Accounting Office (CAO) organization is responsible for all accounting and the related compliance and reporting of Intel globally. The Cost and Inventory Global Process Owner (GPO) team within Corporate Accounting Office is responsible for the design and execution of Intel's cost and inventory processes.

We are seeking an experienced manager to own and lead enterprise Cost and Inventory forecast governance within the Intel IDM2.0 Acceleration Office (IAO)/Cost and Inventory (CI) GPO, setting standards, managing risk, and delivering executive level insights across manufacturing, supply chain planning, and finance. This role shapes future state capability and adoption by leading SAP S/4HANA testing strategy and driving cross tower alignment to enable scalable, well controlled processes.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Set enterprise direction and governance for Cost and Inventory forecasting within the IAO / CI GPO framework, with end-to-end accountability for cross functional alignment across manufacturing, supply chain planning, finance and reporting.

  • Drive business process definition and cross functional alignment between supply chain planning and finance for standard cost across Plan of Record (POR), bi-weekly updates and what if scenario planning, ensuring consistent, well controlled forecast outcomes that support decision-making.

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate forecasting, process, and data risks, ensuring compliance with cost and inventory policies and enabling timely issue escalation and resolution.

  • Drive transformation and future state readiness by leading SAP S/4HANA testing strategy (ITC, UAT, and go live) in partnership with manufacturing, Blue Yonder (BY), and Finance, ensuring high-quality end-to-end process outcomes.

  • Lead comparative and reconciliation testing between Integrated Cost of Sales Tool (ICOST) and SAP S/4HANA data, validating cost, inventory, and forecast outputs across systems to ensure data consistency, identify gaps or defects, and enable confident cutover and executive decision-making during S/4HANA transformation.

  • Stakeholder management and Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with stakeholders and operational teams to align priorities, synchronize plans, lead, and engage the right experts to design across functions, and influence recommended changes to optimize solutions.

  • Influencing: This role is individual contributor but also will work through others in the org as we build this capability. Must be comfortable with ambiguity.

  • Communication skills: Skills to effectively communicate across multiple stakeholders including finance, IT, accounting, audit, legal, and other stakeholders. Skills to present concise and impactful messages to senior leaders.

Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience.  This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations, or a related field

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, supply chain finance, and/or operations finance roles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Operations Finance and/or Cost and Inventory experience.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and financial reporting tools.

  • Experience leading global, cross functional process or systems transformations.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $116,160.00-195,980.00 USD

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role
