The Position

The ERP Tax Management team acts as a technical partner, managing digital solutions for indirect tax, direct tax, and transfer pricing. This multi-cultural, dynamic group leverages a mix of complementary skills to navigate and implement new tax mandates across the globe. Their primary mission is to design standardized global templates that provide a consistent digital framework for the entire organization. Simultaneously, they must remain agile enough to adapt these templates to meet unique local requirements for different affiliates. By bridging the gap between tax law and IT systems, they ensure seamless compliance across all international entities. They are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of technical mandates that protect the company's global financial position.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will be a key driver in our digital tax transformation, ensuring our global operations remain compliant and efficient. Your mission is to bridge the gap between complex tax laws and innovative IT systems within a dynamic team environment.

  • Design Automated Logic: You will analyze intricate business requirements to design and deliver advanced automated tax determination logic within SAP S/4HANA using condition techniques.

  • Drive Cross-Module Integration: You will ensure seamless integration of tax requirements across SD, MM, and FI modules to maintain consistent tax treatment throughout the entire supply chain.

  • Lead Digital Reporting: You will support the technical setup for local statutory requirements, focusing on high-impact areas like real-time reporting and e-invoicing (e.g., SDI, CFDI).

  • Manage Tax Engines: You will configure and maintain critical interfaces between SAP and external tax engines such as ONESOURCE or Sovos for real-time, accurate rate calculations.

  • Bridge Business and IT: You will act as the primary liaison, translating complex global tax laws into clear, actionable functional specifications for technical teams.

  • Ensure System Quality: You will lead comprehensive end-to-end testing cycles, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Mitigate Global Risk: You will proactively resolve complex production issues where tax calculations or e-invoice submissions fail in high-volume transaction environments.

  • Foster Innovation: You will contribute to the evolution of our global standardized templates, balancing consistency with the agility needed for local affiliate requirements.

Who you are

You are a proactive problem-solver who thrives on the intersection of technology and finance. You bring a meticulous approach to compliance and a passion for optimizing digital frameworks.

  • Experienced Professional: You possess a minimum of 8+ years of hands-on implementation experience, including at least two full project lifecycles as an SAP SD/MM functional consultant.

  • Academic Foundation: You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or an equivalent field of study.

  • Tax Subject Matter Expert: You have expert knowledge of SAP Indirect Tax (VAT/GST) setup, with deep experience in complex EU tax rules within large MNC environments.

  • Technical Troubleshooter: You possess strong ABAP debugging skills, allowing you to effectively troubleshoot complex tax calculation and interface issues.

  • Regulatory Tech Specialist: You have experience implementing e-invoice submission frameworks; familiarity with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) is a significant plus.

  • Collaborative Communicator: You demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across a multi-cultural environment.

  • Language Proficient: You are fluent in English (written and verbal), which is essential for our global collaboration and documentation. #RDT2026
