This position will be located in our New Orleans office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of benefits and ERISA claims with a focus on class and complex litigation, and matters before the DOL
  • Federal court litigation skills are preferred
  • Class action experience is preferred
  • ERISA or complex commercial litigation experience is preferred
  • Experience with complex e-discovery is preferred

Skills and Educational Requirements:

  • JD from accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials
  • 5+ years of experience in benefits, class, or other types of sophisticated litigation preferred
  • Current Louisiana Bar admission
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
  • Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork​, along with ability to work independently on various projects
