The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Cutter Tool Customer Service Representative - Equipment & Tool Designer to join our team in North Charleston, SC to support cutting tool customers and kit requirements. This position requires flexibility to work any shift . (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift)
Primary Responsibilities:
Investigates cutting tool use and requirements to support cutter kitting activities at all Boeing South Carolina customer locations; including specifications to satisfy aerospace product design and build requirements.
Participates in design reviews, collects design requirements, creates and revises drawings and models to support the build plan.
Creates specifications, supports purchase requests and usage instructions for cutting tools and cutter kits.
Self-checks product recommendations for compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
Provides cutting tool technical support for engineering changes and discrepancies by investigating problems and analyzing data to identify solutions.
Supports the disposition of cutting tools and kits.
Provides emergent cutting tool support to all customers; including grind shop activities.
Creates detailed new and modification cutter kiting work orders.
Collaborates with BR&T (internal engineering) regarding new cutter implementation and to resolve cutting tool issues.
Customer service representative will interface daily with customers throughout the factory.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3+ years experience as customer service focal
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using Inventory Management Systems
Experience creating work orders and maintaining work order flow
Must be able to interpret part drawings / prints.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds multiple times each day.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years experience in aerospace, automotive or other manufacturing industry
