Equipment Technician - Wafer Fab

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Equipment Technician to join our team at the Senoko wafer fabrication plant in Singapore. You will be responsible for first-line maintenance, repair, and operational support of our high-volume manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and sustained high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine autonomous preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
• Perform gas cylinder change and chemical etching of parts.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in tools and simple equipment, restoring them to full operation quickly and effectively.
• Assist the engineering team in setting up and qualifying new equipment and processes.
• Execute daily checks, monitor tool performance, and report any production or safety deviations.
• Key member of the ERT team.
• Spare parts ownership and management.

Requirements:

• Nitec or Higher Nitec in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Prior experience as a Technician or in a similar equipment maintenance role, preferably in a semiconductor or cleanroom environment.
• Strong analytical and practical troubleshooting skills.
