Job Description

  

As an essential member of our technical operations team, you play a key role in keeping our advanced test and measurement equipment performing at the highest level. Your work ensures that engineers, technicians, and production teams can rely on precise, accurate instruments every day. You will use your expertise to diagnose complex electronic, electrical, and mechanical issues, restore equipment to full functionality, and support a culture of technical excellence across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and repair spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test and measurement instruments
  • Troubleshoot and repair high‑voltage power supplies, RF equipment, and plug‑ins down to the component level
  • Service temperature chambers, temperature controllers, and proportional‑integral‑derivative (PID) controllers
  • Rebuild and restore mechanical devices including pumps, variable transformers, laser welders, and environmental chambers
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation
  • Program and work with various controllers and programmable logic controllers
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques across analog, digital, and logic circuitry
  • Train team members on repair methods and electronic principles
  • Document repair work, parts usage, and diagnostic findings in company systems
  • Collaborate with engineers and operations staff to support continuous improvement in repair processes

What You Need

Skills & Abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of electronics and hands-on troubleshooting – required
  • Ability to diagnose issues in digital, analog, RF, and high‑voltage systems – required
  • Ability to interpret written, schematic, and diagram-based instructions – required
  • Mechanical aptitude for disassembly, assembly, and rebuilding of devices – required
  • Strong mathematical ability including algebra, geometry, and applied calculations – required
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – required
Experience & Education
  • Technical associate degree or equivalent military training – required
  • 4–5 years of related electronics repair experience – required

Salary Range:

$39,000.00-$52,000.000
